FAQ’s

Can I make payments?
Payment is required in full at the time of service
At what age can I have my pet spayed or neutered?
Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure and current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.
What is the pre-anesthetic blood screening?
This is a blood test that is run here in the clinic prior to surgery. It tests the organ functions, blood counts and clotting function of your pet. The pre-anesthetic blood screening is done to assure safety during surgery and the ability to heal following surgery.

We recently brought our rescue dog to Dr Bath, as he had cared for her while she was in her foster home. We found him to be extremely compassionate and kind. He was so patient with our girl, who has been through a lot. We will continue to support this independently-owned business!Posted on Shima Ahmadyar2025-07-03Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t thank Dr. Bath enough for the care and kindness he showed to our cat. From the moment we walked in, he was compassionate, patient, and truly went above and beyond to help. His thoughtful explanations made a very difficult situation a little easier to bear. He took the time to explain our cat’s diagnosis and the possible options ahead with honesty and compassion. Knowing our cat has cancer is heartbreaking, but his kindness and clarity gave us comfort and helped us feel supported in making the best decisions for our pet.Posted on Kris Harley-Jesson2025-06-03Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Bath and the staff are a breath of fresh air. We’ve brought both of our foster dogs here and are so impressed we’re going to switch all of our dogs over to Dr. Bath. Hurray for a lovely and independent vet clinic!Posted on Loreli Hornby2025-06-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We could not be happier!!! Our dog Koda was born small, always seemed lethargic, and embraced the spirit of Eeyore, we thought this was just how he was. He started getting hot spots and open sores, started smelling, and kind of like a yeast infection. For years, we would shave the hair to air the Hotspot, change his diet, and clean his area as much as we could. He gained weight even though he had a good diet. His skin started to get "swollen" looking, he slept all day and seemed to have difficulty moving, jumping on the couch, etc. His skin hotspot got worse. He seemed to have a skin infection as well. Photos attached with captions. Dr. Bath has always been very open and upfront about everything. I was reluctant about a lot, and he was patient, explained everything, and respected my decisions even if it differed from his. We did allergy shots with an antibiotic for 3 months. It kind of worked. He suggested some blood work and geriatric blood work even though he was only 3! I was reluctant again, he explained why and I agreed. These tests showed Koda had potential liver issues and kidney issues. He also checked his thyroid levels, and it showed he possibly had hypothyroidism. With the results of the T4, liver, kidney, and renal, he wanted to test one more thing to rule out and expressed why. I agreed that it made sense. Dr. Bath was very committed to finding out what was making Koda sick! He was very concerned for his declining health at such a young age! I was so use to Koda being like this and it crept slowly so I didn't put such and urgency on it - I shouldn't have viewed it that way. In the end, or close to it, he's been on hypothyroid medication for 2 months, and he is THRIVING!!!! He is a new dog....literally!! We have NEVER, and I mean NEVER, seen or experienced him like this! We know this is his true self as we have one of his puppies (now 2), and how she acts is exactly how he does now! So we know this has been affecting him since birth. He was half the size of the litter and almost died, so we assumed he possibly had an autoimmune disease that caused these skin issues. We are so happy.....sometimes even tired of how energetic he is now, he lost the excess weight and trots on his ealks now I stead of lagging behind (i miss the slow dogs haha). Thank you Dr. BATH! We would never have gotten to this spot without your determination to find out what was wrong with Koda!!!Posted on Andrea2025-05-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve been taking our dog Sundae to Dr. Bath ever since we rescued her, and we’re so incredibly grateful for his care. Sundae is a very reactive dog and doesn’t enjoy vet visits, but Dr. Bath has always shown her (and us) so much patience and understanding. Vet visits can be really tough with a dog like Sundae, but Dr. Bath has worked with us every step of the way—helping us stay on top of her vaccines and care without ever rushing her. His calm, respectful approach makes a huge difference during what would otherwise be very stressful appointments. His compassion, consistency, and genuine care for Sundae have meant everything to us. He’s always done right by her, and we truly appreciate that. Thank you, Dr. Bath, for treating Sundae with the patience and kindness she needs!
